Thank you
We spent a very happy week in your delightful house 65 Rue du Quai from August 6th to 13th 2018. We were fortunate with the weather which made the stay especially memorable. . The house is so well equipped and comfortable. The first floor sitting room was an ideal place to watch people and boats and it was a real bonus to be able to walk to buy our daily croissants . We enjoyed all the Art exhibitions on the cobbled street to the town and the views from the ramparts were stunning and enjoyed eating at the restaurants in the port, particularly on Thursday when the road was closed and we were entertained by musicians. We enjoyed visits to Cap Frehal, and St Cast de Guido a local beach. We walked the walls at St Malo and visited the barrage. We walked along the river Rance to Léhon a fascinating little village. We just didn’t have time to get the bikes out so that will have to wait until next time.

A wonderful 4 night stay in 65!! The weather was fantastic and being able to explore the area on foot, bike and MG Midget made for a great holiday! We couldn't have asked for a more idyllic location on the River Rance and we will be back!!

The apartment, 63, was great, well equipped, excellent location. Dinan is a only a short walk away and has plenty facilities, restaurants, shops etc. The communication and support from the host was first class. I would recommend this property and would definitely use again when visiting the area.

We spent two lovely weeks in Dinan and really loved our stay at 65. The apartment is in a  setting with a view over the river Rance which was charming. It was convenient for restaurants and the centre of Dinan. The apartment was comfortable and clean and we would thoroughly recommend this apartment. What would make it perfect would be a washing machine (perhaps in the shared area) and a strong WiFi signal for those of us who like to use all our digital devices
Thank you for a lovely stay Mandy!

Recently returned from a lovely week at Dinan Port.  No 63, the first floor apartment, is perfectly situated, looking out over the river, compact, comfortable and all on one level, with everything we needed - loved it!  It was great to be able to step out for morning croissants, riverside strolls or along to one of the many good restaurants that line the quayside, or up the steep (very steep!) hill into Dinan itself, which is full of interesting buildings, street life, cafes, and a huge market on Thursday mornings. Lovely beaches are a half-hour drive away. This is a wonderful location, a great holiday base, and I hope to return.

Wonderful break, accommodation (No 65) was superb. Met the owners for a friendly drink. Wandered about this beautiful area in warm Spring sunshine. So much history. Delightful.

We spent a lovely few days in number 63 during the spring this year.   The apartment is situated right on the quay side and afforded lovely views of the river and quayside activity.   It is spacious and very well equipped and furnished, providing everything you could possibly want for a delightful holiday.

The location is superb, it being just a short walk into the medieval city with its many charms.   The cities of Dinard, St Malo and Mont St Michel are just a short drive away.   This is a perfect location for walking, cycling, sight seeing, chilling out and enjoying the relaxed, French lifestyle.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing lots of useful information about the local area and restaurants.
We cannot recommend this apartment and number 65 highly enough and look forward to returning.

Unique experience in a charming place

We spent unforgettable holidays in this charming house. Very close to the center of Dinan, a unique and lively city, with a lot of nice buildings, good restaurants and shops. The apartment is placed in a very quiet location. The owners provided a very good customer service. Short drive to interesting places (St. Malo, Mt. St. Michel, ...).Totally recommendable.

Lovely house and lovely town!

We have just spent a lovely week in Dinan at this charming holiday home. The photos posted on the website give an excellent general idea of the home and its surroundings.

Its location on the banks of the river is fabulous and it was a delight just to spend time gazing out of the window to watch the boats and the world go by. Coming from our home in Paris where we live at a mad city pace of course, it was a relief to be somewhere with such a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy.

The house is just right for 4 people, with the big kitchen table and the living room with 2 sofas. All the beds have excellent comfortable mattresses and we slept very well.

The small back courtyard, currently with pretty pink hydrangeas in bloom, was a welcome cool spot to enjoy at the hottest moments of the day – yes, we had a FULL week of sometimes very warm sunshine in Brittany (just one storm and short burst of rain during one night)! Something I must admit I never seen before in our many escapades to this lovely part of France!

Just one thing to note is that the wooden spiral staircase is quite steep. It does give the home extra character, but makes this perhaps not the ideal place for you if you have either very young children or some serious mobility difficulties. The house is situated on Dinan port. The medieval town centre is absolutely beautiful, with many historical buildings to admire. Be aware that the climb up the cobbled streets to get there from the port is a very steep one – but is of course well worth the effort and is practicable for most people as long as they do the walk at their own speed! We walked up and down at least once a day – and feel extremely healthy now!

The nearby village of Léhon is also very picturesque and worth a visit. A pleasant and leisurely walk of about 30 minutes from Dinan, along the banks of the river, will get you there. The first thing you will come across is the village swimming pool, which the kids enjoyed very much. There is a paddling pool for the littlest ones, a shallow pool for non-swimmers and a large pool for swimmers which is 2 metres deep all the way along! There is also a water slide to have fun with and an open-air solarium area. The entrance fee for the 3 of us was only 7 euros!

To summarise, I would happily recommend both this accommodation and the town of Dinan as great places to spend your holiday!
